Our story

Celebrating our roots.
Passing them on.

The Ramleela Project is a shared effort by friends, families and community volunteers to keep cultural traditions alive. Through Ram Leela — a theatrical retelling of the Ramayana — the project welcomes children, parents and neighbours into a story of courage, devotion, duty and homecoming.

The free Collingwood performance brings the next generation closer to the timeless epic of Ramayan, while inviting the wider community to celebrate together.

Story angles

  • Families passing a living cultural tradition to their children.
  • Community volunteers bringing the Ramayana to a local stage.
  • A free event connecting neighbours through storytelling.
