Our commitment
Accessibility Statement
The Ramleela Project is a community event in Collingwood, Ontario, and we want every family to be able to come. This page explains how we work to remove barriers — on this website and on show day — and what to do if something stands in your way.
The standards we follow
We design this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation.
In practice that means: text that stays readable when you make your browser's text larger, controls you can reach and use with a keyboard alone, clear focus markings as you tab through the page, alternative text for meaningful images, captions of what is shown in decorative artwork, and an option to turn animations off — our site automatically respects your device's "reduce motion" setting.
Tell us when something is in the way
If any part of this website, our registration process, or the event itself is difficult for you, please tell us. We read every message and aim to reply within 5 business days.
- Email: paulpiyush@gmail.com
- Phone: (647) 999-8456
Tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way. If you would rather not write it down, a phone call is fine.
Formats and supports on request
We can provide the information on this website — including this statement, the event details, and the sponsorship package — in a format that works for you: large print, plain text by email, or read aloud to you over the phone. Just ask, and we will arrange it.
Our feedback process, and any supporting documents we prepare about accessibility, are available on request at no cost. Ask for the "Accessibility Statement and Feedback Process" using the contact details above.
What we know is not yet perfect
- Some of our posters are artwork with stylised lettering. Every fact shown in a poster — date, time, venue, price — is also written as plain text on this page so that it can be read by a screen reader or enlarged without losing quality.
- Seat registration opens on a third-party ticketing page that we do not control. If it does not work for you, email or call us and we will reserve your seats directly.
- At the venue we will keep step-free access, accessible seating near the front, and a quiet space available. Tell us in advance what you need and we will have it ready.
